For those of you who are Jason/Cooper/Lexi fans, I've got another short story featuring that trio out called Cat's Walk. It's a little bit kinky:)

"Come on, Kitten," Lexi whispered, using the nickname Cooper had given him, the name that never failed to arouse Jason, to send him into that submissive state of being that he could only unleash in the presence of his lovers. "Let's show Cooper your costume."

Cooper's head shot up at the sound of her voice, and he looked as if he was straining to see through the blindfold. Jason walked forward, more confident now in his heels, swaying his hips as he entered the room. He imitated Lexi's sexy walk and felt almost powerful, the heels serving him for once. This was for Cooper; Jason might as well sell it. A click behind him meant that Lexi had shut and locked the door. Good, he wanted to get their own little private party started.

"Kitten has a surprise for you, luv," Lexi said in a deep, sultry tone that sent shivers down Jason's spine. He loved when she did this, just took control. It made his cock stand up and take notice, and right now it rubbed against the silky fabric of the panties she had made him wear. He hadn't tied himself away; it was the reason for the flowing skirt, because she wanted him to feel every last thing.

Jason clenched his thighs together, wondering if this was how Lexi felt every time she wore a skirt, exposed and sensual.

"Oh?" Cooper asked, his own voice rough with desire. Jason wondered how long she had teased him, kept him on the edge, bound and waiting for Jason to show up.

He swallowed. "Yeah, it's a special surprise," he whispered. He knew his voice was too deep for the charade, but he attempted to disguise it anyway.

Cooper groaned, straining against his bonds, the strong muscles in his biceps tensing as he pulled against the ropes binding his arms behind his back. And then Lexi moved and pulled off the blindfold, leaving Cooper blinking in the light. He stared at Jason, eyes just as wide as Sue's had been. But he knew exactly who Jason was and licked his lips at the reveal. "Oh, Kitten, you do look lovely in a skirt."

Lexi had moved behind Cooper, sliding her hands down his arms to his chest, tweaking his nipples gently. "I bet he's hard under there, all stiff against his pretty pink panties."

Jason flushed under their regard. They hadn't done this in a while, just lost themselves in a scene, letting the outside world fade away, leaving just the three of them. He'd forgotten how it felt, to become Lexi's sub, Cooper's playmate. She had dressed him up like a doll, and he wanted it, wanted so much more. He wanted to be their girl for the night, lose himself in the role and clothing.

I'm really excited to share the cover art for my story "Beyond Meridian" which will be part of the Samhain "Men in Space" Anthology coming out January 26, 2010!

And not only is my cover incredible, the artist made all three covers into this lovely poster. It's currently my desktop wallpaper :) I can't stop looking at it! And now I really can't wait to read the other stories in the anthology!

I'm really excited! I just signed a contract with Samhain Publishing!! The novella will be a part of their Space Opera Anthology! I have absolutely no idea when it's coming out! But I promise I'll post more information here when I get it:)

This story was my summer project and I'm so thrilled it was accepted. I may have danced around the room a time or two.

Now I just have to gear up for the editing:)

I can't believe I haven't updated since February! Sorry about that.

I have been busy writing though.

I got the chance to review Other Magical Creatures. I always love the chance to write reviews. I get to see the stories before anyone else does! It makes me feel special:)

Also, I just received word on an acceptance of a short story, the sequel to "Sleeping Dogs" which appeared in the Shifting Them anthology. I love this universe, and I hope to write more in it soon!

I'll update when I have more information about the anthology!

*back to work* I have two more short stories in progress and one half-written novella.

I usually read reviews while hiding behind my hands, much like I watch horror movies. I'd hate to read someone didn't like something I'd written, but I'm a firm believer in staying out of commenting on review blogs, so I'd just suffer in silence.

I don't have to do that this time, I got a very nice nod at Literary Nymphs for my story "Kitten's Ribbons" which is available in the "Down the Chimney" anthology. I'm thrilled, especially since that story is my favorite out of everything I produced last year.

And that won't be the last for Cooper, Jason and Lexi, I have hopefully two more stories in the works. *gets to writing*

Kitten's Ribbons is probably my favorite story featuring Lexi, Cooper and Jason. I had so much fun writing it, and I really don't want to let these characters go. So I guess that just means I'll have to write another story with them:)

Today my short story "Leashed Tails" has been released as a Torquere sip. This is the same trio from "Catseye" in Love Bites -- and you'll be seeing them again come Christmas time in yet another anthology.

Jason had to press his ear close to the phone to hear. He checked behind him to make sure no one was in the doorway, and then slid further down into the wood-backed chair. "You're right, I don't," he said. He couldn't ever hate Cooper. He just had trouble saying how he felt exactly. "So, what are you wearing?"

Cooper chuckled. "I'll give you three guesses. But one of them had better be 'nothing.'"

Jason sucked in a breath. Cooper sat wherever he was, naked, just chatting on the phone with him? "You're insane."

"Just waiting for Lexi to come home from work. Mmm. What do you think she'll do to me?"

"Probably punish you for starting without her," Jason said with a smirk. "But you'd like that a little too much, I think."

"You're such a party-pooper."

"Who even says party-pooper anymore?" Jason changed the subject; he wanted to turn things a bit more sensual. "I think Lexi would take out the cuffs, and bind you to the bed so you couldn't move and you couldn't touch yourself. You know how much you like to touch yourself." Jason lowered his voice and checked behind him again. It was hard to get into the mood with the
constant fear that someone might walk in on him.

Someone could walk in on him any moment. Jason squirmed, surprised by the suddenness of his hard-on. They would find him here, alone in the study room, slowly bringing off his boyfriend with nothing more than his voice. Jason slid one hand between his legs, trailing along the inseam of his jeans.

"Are you touching yourself now, Cooper?"

"Yeah." So soft that voice now. "Touching my nipples. Wishing you were touching 'em."

She pulled out a T-shirt to wear to bed and captured the phone between her chin and shoulder. "Is there a reason for you calling or did you just want to embarrass me?"

Rich chuckled down the line. "Do you know where Daniel is right now?"

"Uh." She dropped the T-shirt on the bed and sat next to it.

"I have him laid out on our bed, naked except for his socks."

Libby giggled, she couldn't help it. "You do not."

"Hold on."

Libby pressed her ear closer to the phone, trying to make out the sounds she heard from the other side.

"Libby?" Daniel's voice came on the line.

"Hey, farmboy," she said softly. "I bet you're blushing."

"Yeah," Daniel said. "He's getting me ready for you, he said."

"Oh, God, Daniel." Libby pressed her legs together. It was just so tempting, to want to let them fall open, then let the towel fall and slip her fingers down down down…

The phone must have been drawn away, because next she heard Rich's voice. "What do you think about that, Libby? I know how much you want him."

She bit her lip from moaning over the phone line. There were some things a girl should just not do. "You lucky bastard, you've had him."

Laughter again. "He's so perfect," Rich said, "All flushed and breathing hard. He wants it, you know. He wants to sink deep inside you, grasp your lovely breasts between his fingers, flick your nipples until you come, just from that."

Now she did moan. Libby gave into the impulse and slid her hands between her legs, just hovering over her sensitive skin, waiting for whatever Rich said next. "And where will you be?" she asked, her voice little more than a whisper.

I just turned in the edits for my first Sip at Torquere. It also features Jason, Cooper and Lexi (I'm rather fond of those three) and it'll be part of the Halloween blitz at the end of the month. Links up when I get 'em:)

Now I just have to decide if I want to do a much longer project. I'm a bit nervous about committing to 20k words! This one would be just m/m - branching out of my threesomes for the first time.

I'm thrilled to report that I've had two new acceptances. The first "Sleeping Dogs" will be a new threesome tale in the Torquere anthology "Shifting Them." The second is a sequel to "CatsEye" -- "Kitten's Ribbons" and will appear in the "Down the Chimney" anthology.

I seem to like anthologies:) I find I can write pretty well when given a theme and a deadline!

He nearly leapt out of his seat when soft hands began to knead his shoulders. He got as far as sitting up, but Cooper kept up the gentle massage. "Cooper?"

"You’re so tense," Cooper murmured, digging in to the tight muscles around Jason’s neck.

Jason groaned. Cooper’s hands were obscene. "God, you’re good at that."

"That’s not the only thing I’m good at," Cooper whispered, breath warm at Jason’s neck. He licked along the lobe of Jason’s ear.

Jason stiffened, undoing all of Cooper’s hard work. "Cooper, stop it." Damn it, that was all he needed, Cooper screwing with him like this. He had just gotten his mind wrapped around the girl from the coffee shop, gotten his body to think in terms of curves instead of hard angles. And now this?

Cooper ignored him, soft lips making contact with Jason’s neck. He tilted his head away from Cooper, giving him better access. The gentle nibble turned into a full-on bite, Cooper sinking sharp teeth into Jason. When he began to suck, Jason bucked up, the sensation going right to his cock. God, he’d like to feel that suction somewhere else.

He reached up and clamped onto Cooper’s hands on his shoulders. "Dude, you have a girlfriend," he managed to gasp out, holding on to a shred of dignity.

Cooper stopped sucking, giving Jason the chance to catch his breath. "If she was here, my girlfriend would be sitting in the corner directing..."

Jason pushed those strong hands off of him and managed to slide out of his chair. He moved so that the table was between him and Cooper, trying to gain control of his unruly body. Cooper looked bereft, staring at him with sad eyes, hair stuck up in all directions and face flushed a deep red. He bit his pink lips, and Jason wanted to crawl over the table and take that lower lip between his own teeth.

"I know you want me, Jason. I see you watching me when you think I’m studying." Cooper started to walk around the table, in slow measured steps, like he was trying not to spook a wild animal.

Jason backed away, unable to take his eyes off of Cooper, who moved with predatory grace, eyes smoldering and heavy-lidded as he licked his lips. Jason’s back came up against something hard - a set of shelves - and he stopped cold.

"Am I wrong?" Cooper stopped just short of Jason. His arms darted out and grabbed the shelves behind Jason’s head, trapping Jason between them. "Tell me you don’t watch me. Tell me you don’t get hard every time I suck on a pencil."

"Cooper," Jason said, not recognizing his own voice. He never sounded so hoarse and breathless. "Yeah, Cooper, yeah..."

Storyboarding

A friend asked me the other day where I learned to ‘storyboard’ or if I taught myself. For a second I was confused, because I wasn’t sure exactly what he meant. The term he used – storyboard – wasn’t one I’d thought of in connection to my own writing.

What he meant by that term was the simple act of planning and outlining a story. First of all, his conception of how I write is a bit more methodical than reality. I don’t sit and created an outline when I start.

Sometimes it’s a single scene that crystallizes in my mind. Other times a character or concept will engage me. I was walking on the boardwalk in Atlantic City and looked at one of the many psychic booths along the way. Two months later I had a 40K word story inspired by that simple walk.

I told my friend that the most important thing is to find the ending. I have to know what I’m writing towards. Without that goal to chase, a story flounders, the characters have no purpose and scenes don’t make sense.

That doesn’t mean I don’t outline or plan. Sometimes I’ll write first, just to get an idea of the characters or where I’m going. Then I’ll sit back and figure out where I’m going. It’s a little bit like asking for directions after the fact, but it works for me.

So who is this CC Bridges?

I am a writer, currently working on stories of the more erotic type, particularly in the male/male, male/female/male persuasions.

I prefer dogs over cats, chocolate over vanilla, and Kirk to Picard. In my day job, aka my secret other life, I work as a librarian on the East Coast of the US. I love the beach and get lots of my inspiration from walking on the boardwalk.

I've been writing all my life (yes, I know it's a cliché , but in this case it's true.) I'm finally starting to send my stories out, and recently I've been lucky enough to have one of them accepted for publication. I hope to share much more of my work with all of you in the future.
